What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself?

Aside from my hobby/job of writing movie reviews and rating them, I never really liked work. When I got my first job in the government about seven years ago at this point, I certainly wasn’t the working man type and each day, I didn’t present myself as such. It was just something I was not interested in. Having said that, this did not stop me from trying to find the positive aspect of a job like this. There was one aspect that I was able to get behind, this being that I was 28 years old and only 40 to 50 years away from retirement. However, I happened to find yet another positive aspect in the job from hell and this was the money I was making. I knew that by going there, I would pocket a couple of $100 bucks just for sitting there. I didn’t even have to do anything. I felt that by being employed there, they had to pay me as it was law. Despite this, I was unable to get behind the job even with the money I was making. Since then, I have not successfully set any personal goals other than obtaining a hobby/pastime which by now everybody on this site is aware of…..writing movie reviews and rating them. This is something I enjoy but other than this, I have not strived to do anything else as this has been my calling and I have not set personal goals for myself other than this, at least none that have been successful
