Do you trust your instincts?

I have to be honest in saying that I have trouble trusting my instincts as they are wrong most of the time and do tend to get me into trouble as my instincts sometimes can lead me down the wrong path in terms of my rational thinking. This unfortunately played a big part in my downfall as a teenager and lead to the end of my first relationship as it made me believe things that were not true. This is as much as I will say in regards to this but the short answer is no, I cannot say that I trust my instincts.
