Daily writing prompt
If you didn’t need sleep, what would you do with all the extra time?

This has actually been the cause of an argument between mom and I in the past over what I do when I stay up late. Before a routine was established, I would stay up all hours of the night watching movies and tv in general, (which was before I even started writing the blogs,) as I felt that I did not have enough time during the day to finish anything I would start watching hence the belief that there was no point in even turning on the tv as I knew I would not get through anything I started to watch during that time period. For this reason, it was believed by me that the only time I had to watch anything at all was at night when everybody else had gone to bed thus eliminating any cause for distraction by the phone ringing, staff coming and and out, ETC. This is something I still believe to this day but since I have adapted to a routine put in place, I rarely ever watch movies that I have on DVD or streaming services and only watch movies I see in the theatre. This is because the routine has caused me to feel tired enough not to be able to watch the movies I have when I desire to despite always claiming that I will eventually start watching them again. On certain occasions, I will choose to watch movies that I have already reviewed on this site thus eliminating the need to do so afterwards. This enables me to go to bed as soon as the movie ends as the need to write the blog isn’t present. However, the answer as to what I would do if sleep wasn’t necessary should be very clear to everybody, I would spend my time watching movies.

  1. Yeah, I can relate. The days are filled with activity and the moment you return home to spend time with yourself. We have no energy. It’s so depressing.
