Movie Review: Deck The Halls (2006)

Movie Review: Deck The Halls (2006) seen on DVD

Comedy; not recommended for young children; scenes which depict a rivalry between neighbours.

This movie stars Matthew Broderick and Danny Devito as neighbours who compete to see who can put the most Christmas light on their roof.

For those people who were disappointed in my last review of A Merry Friggin Christmas due to my lack of knowledge about the movie, I have to warn that it’s not going to get any better with this one. In fact, it will only get worse as this movie did not feature any actors who are worthy of saving the overall rating. As a matter of fact, I don’t even know the names of the characters played by Matthew Broderick and Danny Devito. As far as this movie is concerned, I’ve just seen it. I have no idea what happens throughout or what the main plot of the movie was as I had been distracted both times I tried to watch it. The first time was when my building went on outbreak and a friend of mine and I tried to watch movies to lighten the mood. It was my first night of isolation and I was stressed out during the movie leading me to be unable to know what happens. The second time was at Christmas when there were two many things going on in the same room as I was trying to watch it leading me to get distracted again. I can honestly say that I’ve never seen this movie which brings about the question of why I bother reviewing it. As a rule, I’ve never seen it so I can’t comment on it. Where there’s no comment, there’s no proper review.

Movie rating: 0 out of 10

Next movie review: TBD although it will be something I will focus on so I can at least give my opinion on it
