I’m going to get right to the point with this one as I’m exhausted from a long and busy day so unlike my other responses which can feel like novels the likes of which would take years to finish sometimes, I’m just going to come right out with my answer. There’s actually a couple of laws I would like to change if I had the power to and they tie into each other. First of all, I feel as though no one should ever need a job to make ends meet. In other words, money should just be something that’s handed out and not required to be earned. Another thing I would like to have is the power to send my mother into retirement so she can have more time to relax amid her recent health problems. I would also kick myself for not admitting to how I would benefit from this. She always told me that if she didn’t need to work, I would see her everyday and she would buy me a house with my own hired people. However, the biggest thing I would change in a second if given the opportunity, (as mentioned in the previous daily writing prompt, the one from yesterday,) is my living arrangement so that I could move back in with mom and make up for all the bad decisions I made growing up living with her. Face it. My life is better with mom. Anyone who desires to do so can call me a momma’s boy if they want. They would just be telling the truth. I’m a 34 almost 35 year old momma’s boy and nothing makes me happier than admitting this fact. If I could change anything to benefit me going forward, it would be to create a situation where mom could be around me a lot more and I would accomplish this by once again living under the same roof as she does.
