Trivia For Silent Love Part 5: Crossroads

  1. Initially Ben and Megan were supposed to be in a full relationship. This was changed for a couple of reasons.
  2. One reason why this was changed is because I felt like it would destroy the main plot of the book as Megan would not be my wife by the end of it.
  3. Another reason it was changed is because despite having formulated the story, it was bothering me to think about the supposed woman of my dreams ending up with my brother.
  4. Joseph was supposed to make an appearance in this chapter
  5. It was unclear whether he would have come down before or after mom’s death but he would have had a part in the funeral
  6. He eventually was supposed to move back to Ottawa with my nephew Jacob who is now grown up
  7. Jacob would want nothing to do with me as I was not there for him in the first 30 years of his life and would have been coached by Joseph to not allow me to enter his life.
  8. During the funeral he would have acted less than sad and even would have made jokes at mom’s expense
  9. Initially Ben and him were supposed to share an apartment and be co boyfriends to Megan, agreeing to take turns getting intimate with her without any accusations of cheating between them
  10. I would still be treated the same way by both Ben and Joseph who would both agree that Megan was mistreated by me and therefore should not be my girlfriend.
  11. Ben and Megan’s relationship should have been more of a shock to me. Initially I find out by walking in on them still believing Megan and I are a couple.
  12. It is often believed by me that Ben would eventually betray me by getting intimate and falling in love with my girlfriend once I get one.
  13. Sometimes I even believe that my girlfriend would only be using me to get to Ben which is a thought that currently goes through my head when I can’t reach him by phone…until I realize that I don’t have a girlfriend in reality
  14. Some extended family members of mine would have also made appearances in the story. More specifically uncle Mike.
  15. Initially, he was supposed to make an appearance along with his whole family including his real life wife and kids
  16. The circumstances surrounding this continuously changed between them all appearing or some just appearing.
  17. Initially, I was supposed to try and get even for Megan’s infidelity by trying and succeeding to initiate a relationship with his wife.
  18. This would have occurred during a work business trip that uncle Mike was taking.
  19. It was continuously taken out and put back in when I started to realize the consequences that would come from us doing that which included uncle Mike getting really upset with me
  20. It was believed that the intimacy between his wife and I would have been done in view of his kids who are all teenagers. They would rightfully have told on me when Uncle Mike returned
  21. For this reason, they were removed from the story
  22. There were several other storylines I thought of to include this character. One included uncle Mike being too busy to move in with me due to his home work schedule.
  23. Another had him and his wife coming off a divorce threatening fight which would have lead to relationship taking place.
  24. Initially, she had agreed to come to the dance with me as a person to dance with as she felt bad for what I was going through with the agreement that no intimacy would take place afterwards.
  25. It was eventually decided to have his wife appear in the story as someone that Uncle Mike initially didn’t fall in love with first.
  26. She would have appeared having not had any kids either
  27. This would have caused problems between uncle Mike and I anyway as he meets her for the first time while coming to check up on me and finds her attractive.
  28. This leads to a back and forth fight for her affection which he wins thus rekindling the same problems I have with intimacy between members of my family only with different people and not including Megan.
  29. It was eventually decided that uncle Mike would not make an appearance in the story as this would be the only way I could fall in love with his wife without causing issues between us
  30. His wife is the girl I fall in love with during the group.
  31. Her name is never mentioned due to the myth that you should not mention names of people online.
  32. Mom initially wasn’t even supposed to appear in this chapter for the obvious reason that she had died.
  33. Her initial absence would have been explained as her having moved to a different city to avoid the drama currently going on.
  34. Her death wasn’t even supposed to be acknowledged at all in the story. It was added as a means of me realizing that it will happen some day whether I like it or not.
  35. Chapter five was initially the end of the book “Silent Love.”
  36. There’s a reason why chapter 5 is two parts
  37. This stems from time constraints I had when writing the chapter as well as needing to properly formulate the story.
  38. The final product of the story as it relates to the girl came when I realized that Uncle Mike would possibly not approve of me writing a story about me getting intimate with his wife and also getting intimate with a person who is supposed to have been his wife.
  39. Initially, uncle Mike finds out about me getting intimate with his wife only for him to also choose to disown me after mom’s death. It was changed as I knew I could not deal with that having just lost mom.
