Trivia For Silent Love Part 6: The End

  1. The chapter could have potentially been much shorter than it was.
  2. Megan pretty much sets the tone for the ending of the chapter within the first talking point of the story as she listed her reasons for being mad at me and eventually choosing to date Ben.
  3. Initially, there was to have been no more dialogue from me in the story other than the two words “Last night” which Megan interrupted
  4. Several of the other scenes within the story were added as I was writing it including the scene with the assault and arrest and the hospital prescribing me medication.
  5. This was done as a means of making the chapter longer as I did not feel it was long enough.
  6. Initially, mom was supposed to suggest that I unplug the oxygen tank I would have been on which would have caused my suicide.
  7. The entire scene of me needing an oxygen tank was removed from the story due to it being too sad
  8. This chapter was supposed to include Joseph as well as he would come back to guard the door during Ben and Megan’s date to ensure I couldn’t get out.
  9. He likely would have joined in on the assault scene where I eventually get arrested
  10. Early thoughts for the story had me choosing to commit suicide myself rather than have it be suggested by mom
  11. My motivation for this would have come for the same reasons that mom listed in the story citing a lack of peace in my own life following her absence along with an admission that my life would never get better.
  12. Early thoughts for the story had me falling asleep prior to my death and having a dream where mom and the boys and I were happy again only to wake up and find the opposite to be the case.
  13. This would have come while I was watching Wrestling on my tv
  14. Megan, Ben and Joseph were originally supposed to find me early in the morning as I had stayed up half the night due to being depressed.
  15. Jacob was going to move back to Ottawa with Joseph following the death of mom and would shut me down despite my attempts to be there for him as his uncle citing the fact that I wasn’t there for him at all growing up.
  16. Initially, mom was not supposed to appear at all after dying. This was changed as I could not bring myself to even write a story that she wasn’t a part of.
  17. Another deleted scene was my method of death. At the last minute I thought of the idea of being killed by Joseph after overhearing Megan and Ben having sex the night before.
  18. This was thought of at a time where I still had the oxygen tank. As I am able to hear Ben scold mom during sex with Megan, I attempt to confront them only to be stopped by Joseph who breaks the oxygen tank with me attached to it causing me to die right in front of them.
  19. That session of sex would have lead to Megan getting pregnant with Ben’s child.
  20. The results of that pregnancy would have been irrelevant to the story hence this whole scene was deleted.
  21. This whole storyline of Megan even dating Ben in the first place comes as a result of my fear that he will do the same in real life once I get a girlfriend.
  22. A second book titled “Life After Death” is currently in the works which focuses on the sentient lives of myself, mom and Megan after death. The book is still in the stages of formulated.
  23. Though it is not confirmed, Megan is thought to have committed suicide herself after my death as she still loved me. She is set to appear in the aforementioned second book.
