Trivia for “Unplanned Parenthood chapter 4: My First Babysitting Job

  1. Something that readers of these stories should be aware of is the fact that when capital letters are used, it indicates dialogue where the person is angry and therefore yelling.
  2. There was a deleted scene when Megan was about to leave with mom where I make a comment about the only thing that could go wrong. Well in this scene the only thing that could go wrong would have been Megan’s fingers ending up in a place where they shouldn’t.
  3. The intimacy that took place in the actual story was thought of as I was writing it to prove to me that Megan still loved me despite the hostility between the three of us.
  4. Originally, the fall was supposed to have taken place right as mom and Megan returned.
  5. Another proposed storyline was to have a police officer driving by who had witnessed it and would have determined that I was unfit to be a parent right then and there. He would have told this to mom and Megan who would have just arrived.
  6. They also would have come back with Brad who would have forced them to move in with him not wanting the baby to have anything to do with me in the aftermath of the fall.
  7. The chapter could have ended with them moving out and leaving me alone
  8. It also could have been the end of this book but I decided to extend it.
  9. A deleted storyline would have seen a court case take place which would have seen the end result be that I am mentally unfit to be a parent by legal standards.
  10. This storyline is a proposed one for chapter 5 and is actually a reason why the book has been extended. People would have wanted to know what would have happened to the baby following the incident and who she ended up with, ETC.
  11. Originally the baby was supposed to fall out of the harness herself due to the attachment coming loose as I tripped over the step.
  12. It was changed for a variety of reasons. It was thought that this may mock a wrestler’s death from the 90’s who would have fallen in a similar fashion leading to his death.
  13. Another reason why it was changed is because it would likely remind mom of a time when we both fell down the stairs together. This may not be a memory she wants to remember but it did happen.
  14. I also thought it would be easier to read if I took some of the pain myself.
  15. I could not bring myself to write the original script as I cannot imagine possibly injuring a baby let alone causing a baby’s death.
  16. It was also thought that the original storyline would have been disliked by mom and possibly would have stopped her from having any interest in reading anymore of my stories.
  17. When the storyline that involved the police officer noticing the fall taking place was relevant, he was supposed to disregard my need for medical attention even though I originally had a piece of wood impaled into my leg.
  18. Originally I was supposed to get mad at the officer for caring that the baby was injured at all while disregarding me.
