When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)?

At 35 years old I still feel like a kid most of the time. This is reflected through the way I act sometimes especially given how much time I spend calling mom and wishing she could be with me all the time. There’s even a part of me that wishes I still lived with her. However, she says for that to work I would need a job to pay my own way. This is something I refuse to do so therefore, it’s only a dream but maybe if I ever get a girlfriend, I may start acting my age. For now though a big part of me still feels like a kid.
