What’s the biggest risk you’d like to take — but haven’t been able to?

I think the biggest risk I would like to take is asking a girl out if I find one. The problem is that I’m very picky and I have also labelled myself as antisocial. This is something that my mother will not allow for me no matter how much I try to be antisocial. However, my social awkwardness contributes to my inability to have more friends in my life than I already do and if my teenage years taught me anything, it’s that having a girlfriend or love interest comes with it’s own set of problems. Having said that, this is something that I would be open to trying if I was ever given the opportunity to do so. I have matured a lot since I was a teenager and I believe that now that I’m an adult, I might have a lot to offer a woman. My mother thinks that my problems during my teenage years were attributed to just being too young and not mature enough to handle a girlfriend but everybody believes this would be different now including myself.

I’m now a man in his mid 30’s who wants to try and find someone while I still can…while I’m young enough not to be considered old and while I can have many years of enjoyment with whoever I end up with.
