My favourite holiday is Christmas which I usually spend with mom. Each year for the past couple of years, we have had our annual Christmas party which takes place at the legion where it is a pout luck dinner with Karaoke and raffle tickets for door prizes. The event usually takes place the second Saturday of December and is coordinated by mom.
We go places Christmas Eve such as movies, restaurants, ETC and Christmas day we usually go visit other relatives. My favourite part of Christmas is the weeks leading up to it. I love browsing the mall and seeing the Santa village set up and listening to Christmas music. However, my favourite part is the decorations in my house. Every year, I look forward to putting up my Christmas tree and I enjoy the lights on the tree. It really gives a feel of the Christmas season. As well, I also enjoy the snow which is something not a lot of people enjoy as they have to shovel it, drive through it ETC. My favourite holiday creature is the grinch of whom I have a picture that a bought from a second hand store a couple of years ago and I keep it up year round.
