What are 5 everyday things that bring you happiness?

I could make this really easy and say that mom makes me happy five times. However, I feel like these answers recently have been too short and I want to expand on them a little bit. While it is true that mom makes me happy more than five times over, I have to really think about anything else that makes me as happy as she does. This is where the challenge is. The good news is that something else makes me very happy as well and this is anytime I get to sleep and have nothing to do. Times when I can sit and relax and watch tv without a care in the world. These are really the only two things I ask for in this world. As long as mom and I are maintaining a positive relationship with each other, (something I feel like I owe her since I was not the easiest person to handle as a kid and even into my young adult life,) I’m happy. I also really love to sleep.

My friends would probably have a different answer to the question of what makes me happy though and something I think both mom and I would agree on. They would likely sarcastically say that I like stressing out and being dramatic. This is something that has resulted in hours of enjoyment for my friends to listen to over the years and something I never get tired of telling them about as I get a kick out of making them laugh over my misfortunes.

I would say that what currently makes me happy aside from mom is the basic small things in life. Admittingly I think this is what should have made me happy all of this time but I have to say that it wasn’t always like this. However, that was then and this is now. I’ve changed my ways from being the rowdy uncontrollable teenager turned near criminal and I’m now the happy go lucky man that almost everybody loves. The only person whose opinion I care about in terms of how I am is mom. As long as she agrees with the way I am, I’m happy.
