The Truth By Jefferson Bert

This morning it occurred to me that there have been a lot of celebrity deaths in the year 2026. One death happens then another one happens all within a week or even a day of each other. It’s become so frequent these days that it’s something I’m used to now but even if I wasn’t, I keep realizing to myself that once again, it’s not someone who was relevant to me so once again, I probably shouldn’t say I don’t care but I also don’t need to react to it. Anyway it got me to thinking of something and I came up with I believe to be the proper phrase or unique sort of saying to sum up what life is. It seems like a lot of people have headed this way this year alone. I came up with this phrase seemingly on my own. It wasn’t copied or stolen from someone else but I think it may be clever. I don’t want to forget this which is why I’m choosing to write it down on this site.

“Life is the road to death.”

Actual quote from Jefferson Bert

This is an actual quote from me. I mean it appears that every person currently living will get there some day. Some people will get there sooner than others but inevitably, this is where everybody will end up. No matter how many stops you make or detours along the way. No matter how many bumps in the road of life there are, inevitably everyone’s final destination is the pearly gates. It’s a fact that nobody is ready for or wants to believe but it’s true. It appears to me that your life is defined by the number of stops you make and the number of time you deal with traffic but then there is also a lot of smooth sailing and plenty of bumps along the way. I feel that how a person chooses to handle those rough rides is what defines them as a person.

“Life is a road that you can only go down once. Hopefully, there are never any wrong turns.”
